Saturday, December 26 thru January 2010: CLOSING SALE at Nativa's Old Town gallery:
Sadly, Nativa is closing its brick and mortar store. The good news is that our customers can get incredible deals as we liquidate our in-store inventory. Everything is marked down from 20% to 70%!

Saturday, January 2 11 am-6 pm and Sunday, January 3, 11 am-5 pm: Nativa hosts Navajo-Diné artist Gerald Pinto, who will demonstrate his contemporary Navajo-Rakú style pottery technique at Nativa's  Old Town gallery.  Buyers will also be entered in a sweepstakes to win one of Mr. Pinto's unique bisque stained medicine bears.

Nativa's Old Town gallery will be closed on January 1.

Cheyenne Jim is the way Navajo artist Dianne Lynne signs all of her pieces. Influenced by cubism as well as Native American traditions, she nonetheless follows her own creative instincts when producing her art, which is entirely handmade and hand painted. This piece is made from Navajo clay and trimmed with down, turkey feathers, horse hair and abalone shell. She has wrapped the flute in rabbit hair and attached a silver disc to the top of the mask. 4 lbs.
